Amazing how time flies!
On Tuesday, enthusiastically applauded by Italian MPs and Senators, the new President of the Italian Republic Sergio Mattarella assumed office making his first official speech. On Wednesday everybody, believe me everybody, was saying that thanks to this reliable, honourable gentleman, who said he will be an impartial referee (but asked the players to be loyal) and talked about hope, the Italian citizen finally could reconcile themselves with the Italian politics…
It’s Friday and in the meantime the mysterious pact between MrB(erlusconi) and @matteorenzi to realized the Italian institutions’ reforms (the so-called Patto del Nazareno) is dead (hurrah!) and in the also half-dead Forza Italia someone calls a retaliation against MrB for that broken pact the fact that probably within a few days the government will propose to raise the sum Mediaset (MrB’s media company) has to pay to use the frequencies to broadcast its many channels (the pact was about the reforms or MrB’s company?); MPS and Senators seduced by @matteorenzi’s success are leaving the movement funded by ex-Prime Minister Mario Monti to join the Democratic Party and the youngest Prime Minister Ever reminds again and again that nothing will stop him.
It seems that a century has already passed since that Tuesday… or maybe that nothing has really happened. No signs of hope.
Però, come vola il tempo!
Martedì, tra gli applausi entusiasti di tutti i nostri onorevoli Deputati e Senatori, si è insediato il nuovo Presidente della Repubblica Sergio Mattarella. Mercoledì tutti, ma proprio tutti, a dire che finalmente con questo galantuomo, che si era offerto come arbitro imparziale (ma chiedendo la collaborazione dei giocatori) e aveva parlato di “speranza”, i cittadini finalmente si sarebbero riconciliati con la politica…
Oggi è venerdì e nel frattempo il misterioso del Nazareno è ormai morto (e forse sepolto), la destra nel bel mezzo di una crisi di nervi a proposito di un possibile aumento del canone per l’uso delle Frequenze TV per Mediaset (ma anche per la RAI) parla di ritorsione contro MrB proprio per la fine di quel patto (ma allora riguardava le riforme, gli affari di MrB o cosa? Potremo mai saperlo?); parlamentari folgorati dal suo sfavillante successo corrono tra le braccia di @matteorenzi e polverizzano l’ex movimento di Monti (ve lo ricordate… Scelta Civica…) e il più giovane Presidente del Consiglio non perde un’occasione per ricordare a tutti che nulla lo può fermare.
Sembra che da quel martedì sia già passato un secolo… oppure che nulla sia successo. Di speranza nemmeno l’ombra.
