“You have a wonderful sense of humour”

Lately we incessantly hear politicians and journalists repeating as a mantra that there is no alternative to this coalition government, cause there’s the crisis, there are so many things to do and parties shouldn’t fight one against the other like they used to do.  Daily, someone kindly informs us (treating us like stupid children needing a continual revision) that the priority is unemployment and, in particular, young people unemployed need all the government attention (everybody knows how easy it is for someone over forty to find a new job, isn’t it’? And in fact people killing themselves because unemployed are often over forty, fifty or even sixty)… Then you read the news  and you  discover that if those who ask people’s vote telling they will cancel old politics (the populist 5Stars movement) are still trying to understand what to do with their salary (they said MP’s salary is too high…), those suffering their success from the Left (PD, the most representative left party) would be ready to propose a new law to rule more strictly parties’ activities and finances, a good thing indeed but having just a little side effect: with it movements (like 5Stars, that  is not a proper party) couldn’t run in future elections (now that 5Stars already won millions of votes this sounds a bit sinister and even stupid. And in fact it seems that this project will be cancelled)… Then, in the end, when you think you have already heard or read everything you could, you can’t help noticing this: “Mafia, People of Freedom Party (MrB’s Party- writer’s note) against the “external” complicity: sentences should be reduced and no prison.” (Marcello Dell’Utri, co-founder, with MrB, of Forza Italia, the first incarnation of his personal party, was accused, prosecuted and condemned for that). That’s just what our poor country needs to get out of all its troubles: an easier life for Mafia and all the people helping it, after all Mafia is one of the greatest business companies…

But in the end, after an avalanche of negative reactions, Mr Schifani, the ex-President of the Italian Senate and an eminent member of PDL, said that this was just a personal bill made by PDL Senator Mr Compagna, a man with good timing (this bill arrives just two days before the 21th anniversary of the Capaci Bombing in which were killed Antonio Falcone, his wife Francesca Morvillo and three police officers) who only wanted to break the monotony in these sad days, it’s clear.

Who told that in the right wing no one has a wonderful sense of humour?

E infatti, a quanto, pare è stata ritirata…
