“You think it’s the end of the world…but it’s not, really.”

So Mr B is back, SuperMario announced he’s going to resign in a few days (which means that probably we will vote in February but till then there he will be in charge) and the Markets seems not very enthusiast… But there’s no reason for a nervous break down! OK, we thought Mr B was gone (from politics) forever (we believe in this at lest for 24 hours, I swear!), the atmosphere has already worsen after his announcement and it’s true, after a relatively calm year it’s hard to watch one again that painted face on TV… But, please, have faith in us. The fact that he’s going to run once again doesn’t mean he’s going to win, his propaganda machine is powerful, but after 18 years and this economic nightmare we are living, you can’t believe that Italian people will be so silly once again… Please trust us, don’t panic, wait till next election to declare the end of the world.

P.S: The first prize for best political forecast of the month goes to Massimo Moratti, the president of  Inter Milan football club (the rival of AC Milan, Mr B’s football club). The 1st of December while in Mr B’s Party someone was still talking of primaries to choose their next PM candidate, Moratti said “he (Berlusconi) is trying to sign up big names. He will run again”.
