Super Mario warned us on Saturday: the crisis is chasing us! No matter what we do for fighting it. After Greek general election and its result corresponding to the Markets recommendations (cause, you know, now Markets using stock index falling and spread rising set the political agenda and, with some authority, tell us who vote if we don’t want to be swollen by the crisis’ Blob) it seemed that European economy could breathe a sigh of relief, but yesterday the Markets didn’t react as expected (Milan -2,85%). Today the G20 summit is producing the usual declaration on how to solve the crisis, we’ll see… In the meantime, more concretely, the economy vice-minister Gianfranco Polillo found a way to assure 1% growth of Italian GDP: increase the productivity renouncing a week of vacation, cause we are living beyond our means (once again!!!). Great idea! Allow me, Mr vice Minister, to give my contribution in solving the crisis with some further suggestion: we could work 12 hours a day (same wage), delete pauses, work seven days a week, abolish the old salary rite… with these measures foreign investors will flock here and GDP will buck up!

  1. Do difficult economic times give an advantage to organized criminals like the Mafia. I am curious to know.

I’m curious to know too. I suppose the crisis could make easier to find people willing to cooperate with organised crime, but I hope it could damage their business too.
