“It’ll get a terrific laugh!”

The earth is still shaking in Emilia Romagna increasing the number of people made homeless and affecting the economic activity (the government assured 50 million euro as first aid while the regional administration and many association are trying to raise money to help); more than a week after the attack in Brindisi that killed a 16-year-old girl, no one claimed responsibility for it and there are just  a few blurred photos of the bomber; the concern around a possible exit of Greece from Euro is growing in the whole Europe; Italian parties are facing their biggest crisis… The future is black, but on Friday something happened to cheer us up. Mr B and his sidekick Mr Alfano finally made the promised announcement they anticipated more than a month ago saying they were preparing something so new, so exciting, so wonderful you people wouldn’t believe… Well, on Friday almost at the same time when one of his “Papi girls”, appearing in court, declared that she used to disguise herself as Mrs Bocassini (the prosecutor in Mr B trials) or even as the US President Mr Obama to entertain Mr B (don’t make that mischievous smile thinking about Bunga Bunga, everything was simply elegant and funny as usual!), Mr B,  just like a great comedian, announced that his Party was going to propose a reform of the Italian Constitution to turn our Country from a Parliamentary Republic to a Semi-presidential Republic just like France (also copying that Country electoral system). Great idea! Encumber the Parliamentary activity till next general election in 2013 with a constitutional reform that has no or little possibility to pass, instead of discussing about all those tedious questions related to the economic crisis to which Italy is succumbing, that, frankly, depress Italian people’s  joyful spirit…That will get a terrific laugh!!!
