“…Too many late nights and you don’t go to heaven…”

The Black Crowes

From “Downtown Money Waster” – from the album Amorica – 1994

Italian political parties are in trouble, the spread between Bund and BTP starts raising once again, the work market’s reform is disappointing everyone and even the IMF is predicting a darker future… In the meantime Mr B made on Friday his comeback on the political scene to give a helping hand to his successor Mr Monti, just like a real Statesman does, reminding to all those people that are now protesting against the sober professor’s reforms why they were so happy when SuperMario took charge of the government. Appearing unexpectedly in court to stand trial on  child prostitution and abuse of his power charges, Mr B firstly said to journalists that he’s forced in paying the young girls involved in this case (he’s not corrupting witnesses of course) because their lives have been destroyed by the prosecutors’ cruelty (“probably they’ll never have a boyfriend once again…”). Then he continued by saying that the famous Bunga Bungas were just elegant dinners and that sometimes the young girls that were his guests loved to improvise some “Burlesque contests” because “women are exhibitionist by nature” (!!!!!!!) and finally ended saying that the famous sexy policewoman or sexy nurse costumes the girls used to wear during those contests were his late friend Gaddafi’s gifts and announcing that he’s ready to start again… Unfortunately for  SuperMario the Mr B’s “Operation Bunga Bunga” had not the hoped-for success: CGIL (the most representative Italian Trade Union) announced a general strike against the work market’s reform in addition to a rally against precariousness on the 10th of May and on Saturday, in Turin, rotten eggs had been thrown to the car where the welfare minister Elsa Fornero was in…
