“When I speak of time, I’m speaking of the fourth dimension.”

H. George Wells – from “The Time machine” 1960

This week in Italy: a truckers’ strike, two (light) earthquakes shaking the North (Lottie didn’t noticed but I did), new blitz against tax evasion in Milan…

In the meantime, while many people were trying to understand how freshly baked bread sold on Sunday could save our economy (yes, is one of the measures), Mr Monti said about the upcoming work reform: “It is needed… a protection less focused on the individual work position and more on the individual worker, with a need for mobility over time.” Is he trying to drag us to the fourth dimension?

A special thought for Oscar Luigi Scalfaro The ninth  President of the Italian Republic from 1992 to 1999 (learn more here), a 93-year-old man still engaged in our Constitution’s defence who passed away on Sunday.
