Frau Merkel met yesterday Mr Monti and once more she’s been impressed by Italian government measures: what a substance and what a speed! Well, at least she noticed that the economic measures she solicited meaning for the Italian people blood and tears for many years have already been adopted. Last Sunday we discovered, listening Mr Monti talking on TV, that her French Euro-censor colleague Monsieur Sarkozy was still thinking that they were just a mere proposition (think he could ask Mme Carlà to translate for him some Italian newspaper!).
Frau Merkel ha incontrato ieri Mario Monti e ancora una volta è rimasta impressionata dalle misure del governo italiano: che sostanza e che velocità! Bene, almeno lei si è accorta che le misure economiche che tanto aveva sollecitato e che significheranno per gli anni a venire lacrime e sangue per gli Italiani erano già state adottate. La scorsa domenica ascoltando Monti in televisione abbiamo scoperto che invece Monsieur Sarkozy, il suo collega Euro-censore, credeva ancora che fossero soltanto una proposta (e pensare che potrebbe farsi tradurre qualche giornale italiano da Mme Carlà!).
