“Oh, I know it’s a penny here and a penny there… but look at me:

I worked myself up from nothing to a state of extreme poverty.”

That’s probably what the Beautiful People  declaring a worker salary but living like millionaires and driving supercars (and being just a little less sincere than Groucho in 1931 Monkey Business) would have used as a justification during the anti-tax evasion blitz made in Cortina d’Ampezzo (the most exclusive Italian winter resort) during last Christmas holidays. Obviously that blitz unleashed controversies. First, what about Cortina’s good name? Next year everyone who counts will go elsewhere! Second, spoiling that way the Crème de la Crème’s holiday has been extremely impolite. But what’s worst (as many right politicians noticed) acting this way the government just feeds “social envy” (!!!)… Beware! This will lead to a Class(y) struggle. The rich, in their flamboyant revolutionary (designers) clothes will bravely fight  against this State that only ask them money (so tactless!) and won’t stop until the last poor in the last social housing complex wouldn’t be found and wouldn’t have paid tax for them too!

  1. Thanks for reading a recent of my posts, and I am so glad I dropped by! You have a wonderful blog–combination of crafting, reusing, politics, etc. We are all tied together, no?

I enjoy looking at sketches and instructions (my mom and daughter like to read recipes, so even though I don’t knit, I am going to subscribe.

    Ciao!
